Director of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) for Warren and Van Buren counties
Graduate of Tennessee Technological University.
Employed with TOPS since April 1, 2016. I very much enjoy my job because I am able to see the major contributions senior adults make in our community. We have over 200 volunteers aged 55 and older who work each day to make the world a better place by volunteering and donating their time furnishing clothes for the needy, preparing and delivering hot meals for those who cannot do so for themselves, issuing military graveside services for deceased veterans, offering tutoring and homework support at local libraries and after-school programs, providing companionship to nursing home patients, making care packages for Hospice patients, instructing grief counseling classes, helping to sharpen job interview skills, and instructing GED preparation and college preparation assistance classes among other things. Our volunteers bring a lifetime of knowledge and experience to every job they do. I am very honored to know these fine ladies and gentlemen.
I have worked at TOPS since 2012.
I have worked in accounting for twenty years. My primary tasks are payroll and accounts payable. It has been a great privilege to work at TOPS. I work and have grown to know many wonderful people who improve and change lives each and every day.

I am Leecia Walker with the TOPS program. I cover a large part of the Upper Cumberland and some of the Eastern part of Tennessee. I have had jobs working from retail, bank teller, bank manager, to my present case management position, since my start in 1990. I love to work with people and the TOPS program allows me to meet great people and be a part of their growth and training experience. I am fortunate to work with people embarking on the dreams and goals they have envisioned for years. I love when we see a new client filled with hope and dreams of not only changing their lives, but changing the future for the families. I have cried, laughed and rejoiced with those touched by our program. I have grown myself but watching my clients victories and all they have overcome to succeed. At TOPS, we offer encouragement not only with stipends but with words. Our clients here at TOPS, have been recognized for being overcomer’s and overachievers. Each year, TOPS has a chance to showcase our amazing clients. Some of the ones I have been honored to work with, have been recognized for their great achievement.
