baby-boy-child-cute-40998-largeThe Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as food stamps) provides nutritional assistance benefits to children and families, the elderly, the disabled, unemployed and working families. If you and your family qualify for SNAP, you will receive monthly supplemental income to purchase specially designated food products need for a healthy family. Eligibility is determined by guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

WIC stands for Women, Infants, and Children and is also called the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program. WIC is a federal program designed to provide supplemental food to low-income pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, infants and children until the age of five.
